Here is our simple ordering process:

Check Product Availability: Look for the status label on the product page.


  • "Available for Quote": The product is in active production. You can proceed to request a quote.
  • "Currently Unavailable": The product is not available for order at this time (it may be a legacy item or a prototype not yet released).


Request a Quote: For any product marked "Available for Quote," click the "Request a Quote" button. Please provide details about your project, desired quantity, and any special requirements.


We'll Contact You: Our team will review your request and typically respond within a few business days with a formal quote, lead time, and any necessary technical clarifications.


Manufacture & Ship: Upon your approval of the quote, we begin the build process for your order and coordinate shipping directly with you.


This approach ensures you get a solution that fits your exact needs, with clear expectations on timing and cost from the start.

To request a cost estimate, please use the designated contact form on our website. For the most accurate quote, provide your detailed contact information and include as much specific detail as possible in the comments section. This should include the product type, desired quantity, technical specifications, and any special requests or project requirements. Our team reviews submissions during standard business hours (Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays). We typically respond to quote requests within a few business days.

Our core hardware—including sensors, data acquisition equipment (dataloggers), wireless sensor nodes, and handheld readers—is not sold as a standalone retail product. These items are currently only available through contractual agreements that include associated support or integration services. Other specific technologies or products may be available on a direct customer-to-customer basis. For clarification on what is available for your specific project, please contact us directly.

Yes, we support a maker and integrator community by providing information for various do-it-yourself (DIY) reader designs. These designs allow you to build your own interface hardware to collect data from our sensors. Comprehensive information on these DIY reader schematics, components, and build instructions is available on our website.

Yes, our data acquisition devices (like dataloggers and nodes) come pre-programmed with sensor-specific calibration parameters. These are based on extensive laboratory experiments that account for factors like temperature dependence and unit-to-unit variation. The standard calibrations are optimized for common substrates such as rockwool and high-organic-content soil.
If you plan to use our sensors (specifically APAS T1) in a significantly different substrate or medium, a recalibration may be necessary to achieve published accuracy specifications. However, recalibration is not always required; for instance, if you are only testing sensor functionality for system integration, you may proceed without it.

We provide proprietary, closed-source software libraries that handle critical functions including raw signal processing, application of sensor-specific calibration coefficients, and temperature compensation. You can test basic sensor functionality without this software, but uncalibrated readings are not reliable for monitoring or automation purposes.


This integration software is offered as a one-time purchase and can be customized for compatibility with your specific system hardware. The code is currently available in C/C++. Access to the full source code is not included in the standard purchase but is available under a separate Technology Transfer agreement.

Yes, we offer a dedicated Sensor Integration Service. If you wish to integrate our sensors with an existing Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), IoT, or other monitoring/control system, please describe your existing system and integration goals in detail in the comments section of the contact form. Integration support, custom software development, and the necessary proprietary software for a reliable connection are provided as separate, scoped services.

Lead times vary based on order size and customization:

  • For small, standard orders (typically under 50 sensors), the current lead time is four to six weeks.
  • For larger orders, customized products, or projects involving development services, the lead time is project-dependent. The specific timeline will be clearly defined and provided within your formal quote or project estimate after we review your detailed requirements.

Our standard product warranty covers parts and labor for a period of one (1) year from the date the product ships from our facility. We also offer an optional three (3) year extended warranty for an additional cost of 10% of the product's purchase price. The warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship under normal use as outlined in our documentation. Please note that warranties are voided by damage, tampering, or use inconsistent with the product's intended purpose.
